1908年(光緒三十四年)，"吉"字庫平壹兩大清銀幣問世。該幣為天津造幣廠代鑄，為試鑄樣幣。

正面"吉"字居中，點圈內鐫"大清銀幣"四字，兩側鐫"戊申"二字，上鐫滿文，下鐫"庫平壹兩"四字。背面蟠龍居中，外圈為英文，兩側鐫小花飾。
