“寬永通寶"是日本歷史上鑄量大、鑄期長、版別多的一種錢幣,同時(shí)也是流入我國數(shù)目多的外國錢幣之一。

據(jù)史料紀(jì)錄,寬永二年(1625年)乙丑,水戶田町之巨賈佐藤新助,向日本政府請(qǐng)鑄寬永新錢。后累朝鼓鑄,長達(dá)二百余年之久,品類頗繁,不下千余種,而且數(shù)目極大。
