四川銅幣，是晚清和北洋時(shí)期四川省地方政權(quán)鑄造的貨幣。由于川省銀銅礦缺乏，加之辛亥革命以后軍閥割據(jù)，致使中央政府《幣制條例》關(guān)于銅幣之原料比例、銅幣面額的規(guī)定沒(méi)有嚴(yán)格遵守，致使物價(jià)虛高、影響經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展。四川銅幣，自光緒二十九年（1903年）六月開(kāi)鑄，至民國(guó)二十四年（1935年）十一月法幣開(kāi)始流通才逐漸退出流通領(lǐng)域在推翻封建王朝建立民國(guó)的過(guò)程中，軍政府曾發(fā)揮過(guò)重要作用，使得四川銅幣的歷史意義更加不凡。
