錢面中央有“大清銅幣”四個漢字，內(nèi)嵌一小字“鄂”代表地名，上端是滿文“大清銅幣”字樣，兩側(cè)為年份，邊緣中間分別“戶部”二漢字，下端為“當(dāng)制錢十文”。
錢背中央為蟠龍，上端是“光緒年造”，下端英文 (大清帝國銅幣)，品相保存良好，有輕微擦痕。
此件藏品經(jīng)老師鑒定為到代真品，保存完好，而且因?yàn)槭菓舨吭欤藻X幣的材質(zhì)和形制非常講究，特別不錯。除此之外，老師還告訴大家：戶部在當(dāng)時相當(dāng)于中央財(cái)政部，在當(dāng)時并不像現(xiàn)在，只有中央財(cái)政部可以造錢，因?yàn)榈胤礁顡?jù)、軍閥混戰(zhàn)的原因，除了戶部可以造錢，也有一些地方造的錢幣，如湖南省造、湖北省造、四川省造等，但是地方造的錢幣存在偷工減料的現(xiàn)象，所以老師對這枚戶部造的大清銅幣十分認(rèn)可。
