袁大頭民國三年試鑄幣
簡單一句話，試鑄幣的制作版式，絕對是和流通幣在規格上是一樣的，只是試鑄幣是一個標本，流通幣是根據標本制作出來的錢幣，總體保持一致。試鑄幣存世量極少，流傳到民間的更少
試鑄幣就是沒有進入市場使用的。其實民國試鑄幣就是當時從國外買過來的機器，因為第一次鑄造，用銀改為銅，用銅水冷卻后機器鑄壓，試鑄幣是當時的完成品樣品。是后續鑄銀幣的對照品，整個國家這種版別才幾枚到十幾枚而以。機制幣的制作生產，從祖模設計、工具模翻制，從銅料熔煉，到壓軋銅板、制作銅餅、晃洗、退火、滾邊、印花等，前后涉及到的工藝流程有十幾個環節，需要不同技術工種緊密配合，可以說機制幣的生產過程，就是一件藝術品的繪制過程。
