故宮作為明清兩代的皇宮重地,館藏歷朝歷代各類文物180余萬(wàn)件/套。藏品容納歷代錢幣14萬(wàn)余枚,其中含有代表了中國(guó)古代錢幣文化精髓的鎮(zhèn)庫(kù)錢和金銀元寶。故宮藏錢雖數(shù)量可觀,卻深藏宮闈,世人難得一見(jiàn)。
As an important place of the Imperial Palace in Ming and Qing Dynasties, the Palace Museum has more than 1.8 million pieces of cultural relics of various dynasties. The collection contains more than 140000 coins of various dynasties, including zhenku coins and gold and silver treasures which represent the essence of ancient Chinese coin culture. 鎮(zhèn)庫(kù)母錢為鎮(zhèn)災(zāi)驅(qū)邪,祈求吉祥富貴,朝廷在鑄幣時(shí),特制一枚大型錢幣,謂之“鎮(zhèn)庫(kù)錢”,寓意鎮(zhèn)守國(guó)庫(kù)。《故宮·鎮(zhèn)庫(kù)母錢》以故宮館藏鎮(zhèn)庫(kù)錢為原型,遵循“外圓內(nèi)方”的鑄幣法則,以純銀為材質(zhì),采用貴金屬鑄幣工藝,再現(xiàn)鎮(zhèn)庫(kù)錢千年歷史印記,傳承故宮錢幣文化。
