粉彩始創(chuàng)于康熙，極盛于雍正?？滴跬砥谠诂m瑯彩瓷制作的基礎(chǔ)上，景德鎮(zhèn)窯開(kāi)始燒制粉彩瓷，但制作較粗，僅在紅花的花朵中運(yùn)用粉彩點(diǎn)染，其他紋飾仍沿用五彩的制作。目前主要發(fā)現(xiàn)有兩個(gè)品種：一是白地粉彩器；一是綠、黃、紫三彩瓷上加有胭脂紅（金紅）彩。到了乾隆朝，無(wú)論在造型、怡釉和彩繪方面，粉彩瓷均得到了空前的發(fā)展。桃在中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)文化中是一種吉祥之物。傳說(shuō)桃木可驅(qū)鬼，桃實(shí)食之則可延年益壽，遂成為長(zhǎng)壽的象征。元稹《長(zhǎng)慶集》十五《景中秋》詩(shī)：“簾斷螢火入，窗明蝙蝠飛。”蝙蝠簡(jiǎn)稱(chēng)“蝠”，因“蝠”與“福”諧音，人們以蝠表示福氣，福祿壽喜等祥瑞。民間繪畫(huà)中畫(huà)五只蝙蝠，意為《五福臨門(mén)》。"九"在中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)文化中則是至尊之?dāng)?shù)，九桃繪于瓶上，再加上5個(gè)蝙蝠，寓意平安祥順，萬(wàn)壽無(wú)疆。
