此大明成化年描金麒麟盤用青花描金裝飾，繪纏枝花紋，圈足青花雙方框內楷書“大明成化年制”六字雙行款；托內外壁均繪纏枝蓮花紋，制作精細，胎質潔白細膩，釉水瑩潤如玉，青花發色勻凈、藍艷，金彩工藝成熟，已經從貼金工藝轉變為描金工藝，金彩表面平亮，顯得金碧輝煌。是成化晚期景德鎮御窯制作的精品，彌足珍貴。
