銀元正面希臘自由女神坐像，因而得“坐洋”之名。為清末在華流通的外國(guó)銀圓之一，“坐洋”的主幣“壹圓”的鑄造時(shí)間從1885年開(kāi)始，在巴黎鑄造，至1928年共計(jì)43年。“坐洋”的形象雖然與其后英國(guó)鑄造的“站洋”中持戟武士傲然挺立船頭的形象大相徑庭，但卻絲毫無(wú)法掩蓋殖民主義者大規(guī)模進(jìn)行經(jīng)濟(jì)侵略的野心。各種坐洋斷斷續(xù)續(xù)發(fā)行至1937年，因?yàn)閼?zhàn)爭(zhēng)的陰影而宣告結(jié)束。而中國(guó)在1933年實(shí)行廢兩改元后，船洋法幣逐漸一統(tǒng)市場(chǎng)，外國(guó)銀圓在中國(guó)的好日子不復(fù)再了，恰好的是這個(gè)時(shí)候坐洋也銷(xiāo)聲匿跡了。圖文中的坐洋幣為1913年發(fā)行，由于二次大戰(zhàn)城結(jié)束后，法國(guó)短暫統(tǒng)治印度支那，再?zèng)]有再發(fā)行過(guò)銀質(zhì)貨幣，坐洋的發(fā)行期為1903年至1923年，此坐洋幣稀缺品。藏家手里也越來(lái)越少，有的當(dāng)專(zhuān)家寶一代代往下傳，今年由于經(jīng)濟(jì)比較緊張，無(wú)奈之舉，只能守痛割?lèi)?ài)有喜歡的收藏人士可以來(lái)本公司觀賞議價(jià)
