汪寅仙是中國工藝美術(shù)大師、中國陶瓷藝術(shù)大師、研究員級(jí)高級(jí)工藝美術(shù)師、第一批國家級(jí)非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn) " 宜興紫砂制作技藝 " 代表性傳承人。曾任宜興紫砂工藝廠副總工藝師、宜興紫砂研究所副所長等職。一直從事紫砂陶創(chuàng)作設(shè)計(jì)制作工藝，擅長“花貨”制作，具有頗高的藝術(shù)造詣和姻熟的制作技藝，她是紫砂界又一座藝術(shù)高峰。

汪大師認(rèn)為：“紫砂壺是有靈性、有生命的，它能折射出作者的心胸、氣度、才思、情懷，先要做好人，才能做好壺。做紫砂壺工藝到了一定水平，看的就是文化，就是人品。“紫砂花貨設(shè)計(jì)是要將自然界中物體的形態(tài)去粗取精，并進(jìn)行藝術(shù)上的加工提煉，將之變化成高于生活的藝術(shù)品，以豐富人們的精神生活。”

此器，底刻“汪寅仙”纂刻。造型傳統(tǒng)大方，線條簡練流暢。豐滿圓潤的壺體，給人以穩(wěn)實(shí)的感覺。她盡量保持紫砂特有的光華質(zhì)感，在局部加以修飾，起到畫龍點(diǎn)睛之用。此壺在壺把、壺蓋、壺嘴邊緣加之修飾，整體自然優(yōu)雅，靈動(dòng)簡約。
