經過十余年的培育，以機制幣為代表的錢幣拍賣市場終于在大放異彩。即便與海外市場相比，當前內地市場亦不遜分毫。收藏者、投資者群體的知識更豐富、視野更開闊，觀念也發生了深刻變化，他們對藏品追求更苛刻，在珍、稀的前提下，更看重藏品的完美品相和未來價值。銀幣，代表了中國近代的貨幣文化，反映了我國近代歷史、經濟、金融的興衰和滄桑，具有很高的藝術觀賞價值和文物價值，也具有一定的保值和升值功能。近年來珍稀老銀幣持續走俏各地拍賣場外，在互聯網上珍稀銀幣的成交業績也可圈可點。

從明代崇禎年間至解放前夕，我國先后發行了640余種銀幣，其中，“奉天省造癸卯光緒元寶庫平壹兩銀元”、“光緒銀幣（丁未）雙龍一兩”、“大清銀幣吉字戊申庫平一兩”、‘’陜西省造光緒元寶庫平一兩、“香港造上海壹兩銀元”、“湖北省造光緒七錢二分本省銀元”及“孫中山像地球版壹元銀元”為舊版銀元中的一幣難求的稀缺品。
銀幣正面中央圓圈內鐫“光緒銀幣”四個字，圈外左右兩側分鐫“丁未”二字和一對雙龍戲珠（壽字）圖案。銀幣背面中央鐫“一兩”二字，兩側鐫雙龍戲珠圖案，兩條龍的背部和龍腹部分別鐫有三團云朵，下端鐫海浪圖案。正面和背面的龍圖造型完全不同。此款光緒元寶發行量極少，丁未一兩，品相完整，保存完好，有一定包漿年代感，極具收藏價值。
光緒銀幣（丁未）雙龍一兩是由清政府度支部設計和正式鑄行的清代標準銀幣之一。清朝光緒三十三年（1907）年度支部天津造幣總廠鑄造。因為鑄額小，傳世稀罕，大多數民間藏家沒有見過實物。
光緒銀幣雙龍一兩是光緒年間短暫流通過的樣幣之一，作為近代銀元“十大珍”之首其精湛的工藝與收藏價值一直為世人驚嘆，存世量及其稀少。它是中國銀本位貨幣制度的最精美的代表，為了體現滿清皇權制度在貨幣領域的權威，其設計制造者不計成本地進行了精美絕倫的設計。其藝術水準、防偽能力迄今沒有被超越。傳世此種光緒銀幣存世僅見一枚，是被國內外集藏界公認的中國近代銀幣大珍品。
這枚“光緒（丁未）雙龍一兩”銀幣當年雖然投放于市場，但它在市面上流通的時間并不是很長，后來被全面收回；它當年的實際鑄造量其實并不多，能完好流傳保存至今的，少之又少，罕見至極。

From the Chongzhen period in the Ming Dynasty to the eve of liberation, China issued more than 640 kinds of silver coins, among them, "Fengtian Province made Guimao Guangxu Yuanbao Treasure One Two Silver Dollars", "Guangxu Silver Coins (Ding Wei) Shuanglong One Two", "Daqing Silver Coins" "Ji Wushen Kuping one or two", "Shaanxi Province made Guangxu Yuanbao Kuping one or two", "Hong Kong made Shanghai one or two silver dollar", "Hubei Province made Guangxu seven money two cents local silver dollar" and "Sun Yat-sen like earth version one dollar silver dollar" It is a rare item that is hard to find in the old silver dollar.
The four words "Guangxu Silver Coin" are encircled in the central circle on the front of the silver coin, and the characters "Ding Wei" and a pair of double dragon play beads (Shou characters) are on the left and right sides of the circle. On the back of the silver coin, the words "one or two" are engraved, and two dragons play with beads on both sides. There are three clouds on the backs and abdomen of the two dragons, and the waves on the lower end. The dragon figure on the front and back is completely different. This Guangxu ingot has very little circulation, Ding Wei one or two, the product is complete, well preserved, has a certain sense of the age of the pulp, and has a great collection value.
Guangxu Silver Coin (Ding Wei) Shuanglong One or Two is one of the standard silver coins designed and officially cast by the Qing government branch. In the thirty-third year of Guangxu (1907) of the Qing Dynasty, the Tianjin Branch Mint Plant was cast. Because of the small amount of casting and the rare inheritance, most folk collectors have never seen the real thing.
The Guangxu silver coin Shuanglong one or two is one of the sample coins that passed briefly during the period of Guangxu. As the first "ten treasures" of the modern silver dollar, its exquisite craftsmanship and collection value have always marveled the world, and its stock is extremely rare. It is the most exquisite representative of China's silver standard currency system. In order to reflect the authority of the Manchu Emperor's imperial system in the currency field, its designers have done exquisite designs at no cost. Its artistic level and anti-counterfeiting ability have not been surpassed so far. Only one piece of Guangxu silver coin has been handed down in the world, and it is recognized as a treasure of modern Chinese silver coins by collectors at home and abroad.
Although this "Guangxu (Ding Wei) Shuanglong one or two" silver coin was put on the market that year, it did not circulate on the market for a long time, and was later fully recovered; its actual casting volume was not much and it was intact. Very few of them have been preserved so far, and they are extremely rare.
