唐三彩的制作工藝十分復(fù)雜。不僅在陶土的挑選、淘洗等環(huán)節(jié)十分講究，最重要的特點(diǎn)是唐三彩的燒制采用二次燒成法。先將素胎入窯經(jīng)過1000℃至1100℃的燒制，冷卻后上釉，再入窯以800℃燒制。這些釉料經(jīng)過焙燒，色釉濃淡變化、互相浸潤，形成的色彩自然協(xié)調(diào)，花紋流暢。
