傅抱石(1904-1965)我國現(xiàn)代著名的國畫家、美術(shù)史研究和繪畫理論家,少年時(shí)代飽受艱辛,當(dāng)過瓷器店學(xué)徒和補(bǔ)傘匠。熱愛中國傳統(tǒng)書畫、篆刻藝術(shù),刻苦自學(xué),尤崇石濤,1921年考入江西第一師范學(xué)校,號(hào)"抱石齋主人傅抱石",從此走上藝術(shù)之路。1933年傅抱石進(jìn)入東京日本帝國美術(shù)學(xué)校研究部,很快以畫、文、書、印"四絕"全才嶄露頭角,尤以山水畫見長。1935年7月任教于南京中央大學(xué)藝術(shù)系,新中國成立后,傅抱石除在南京師范學(xué)院美術(shù)系任美術(shù)史教授外,先后擔(dān)任了中國美術(shù)家協(xié)會(huì)江蘇省分會(huì)主席,江蘇省國畫院院長等職務(wù)。
Fu Baoshi (1904-1965) was a famous modern Chinese painter, art history researcher and painting theorist in China. He suffered a lot in his youth, and worked as an apprentice and umbrella mender in a porcelain shop. He loved traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy and seal cutting and studied hard. He was admitted to Jiangxi first normal school in 1921 as "Fu Baoshi, the master of Baoshi studio" and embarked on the road of art. In 1933, Fu Baoshi entered the research department of Japanese Imperial Academy of Fine Arts in Tokyo, and soon became famous for his "four talents" in painting, writing, calligraphy and printing, especially in landscape painting. In July 1935, he taught in the Art Department of Nanjing Central University. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, Fu Baoshi, in addition to being a professor of art history in the Art Department of Nanjing Normal University, successively served as chairman of Jiangsu Branch of China Artists Association and President of Jiangsu Academy of traditional Chinese painting.
傅抱石有一個(gè)創(chuàng)作習(xí)慣,往往同一題材反復(fù)經(jīng)營,不斷錘煉,構(gòu)圖一旦滿意輒多有繪制,南京博物院所藏《擘阮圖》亦然。《擘阮圖》是傅抱石人物作品中的精品的代表作之一,該作品為人物系列作品,創(chuàng)作時(shí)間從1945—1962年,跨度17年,繪畫多幅。

傅抱石是個(gè)十足的石濤迷。而他亦因深愛石濤的畫作,更將其名改為“抱石”。他曾透露,多年來不曾離開研究石濤的影響,“當(dāng)我擎毫伸紙的時(shí)候,往往不經(jīng)意又觸著了他。”對此,在總結(jié)現(xiàn)代模仿石濤的繪畫大家時(shí),石濤迷有傅抱石、張大千、黃秋園、石魯四人。“如果按照傳統(tǒng)的神、妙、能、逸的劃分方法,則傅抱石為神品,張大千為妙品,黃秋園為能品,石魯為逸品。”對此,傅抱石是最接近石濤畫的畫家。他的作品絕不是依樣畫葫蘆地模仿石濤的筆墨,而是從石濤的創(chuàng)作道路中取得借鑒。綜觀傅抱石藝術(shù)人生,其山水畫最為出名,更為后人所評(píng)的是,他是最接近石濤的畫家。后創(chuàng)“散鋒筆法”,使毛筆不僅僅停留在中鋒、側(cè)鋒上面。
